Cash in Against Value-Packed NBA Odds as LeBron and Durant Both Take Court at Home Tonight
November 30, 2010
BetOnline pro basketball betting enthusiasts will get four chances to boost the annual bankroll with some wise wagering against the value-packed NBA Odds thanks to my betting breakdown on two separate contests featuring two of the game’s biggest stars.
That’s right roundball gamblers, LeBron James and the Miami Heat will be looking to get back in the win column and find a sense of normalcy after dealing with a multitude of swirling rumors and innuendos in the wake of their slow start.

In my other NBA contest, Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder will look to hold down the fort and beat Chris Paul and the surprising New Orleans Hornets in a battle of Western Conference title hopefuls.
With all of that said, let me get started.
Washington at Miami 7:30 PM ET
NBA Odds
Miami Heat -12
Over/Under 198
Analysis: The Wizards have dropped two straight but managed to cash in against the NBA Odds the last time out to snap a three-game ATS losing streak. The Miami Heat are coming off a dismal 106-95 loss at Dallas on Friday and have failed to cash in against the NBA Odds in a each of their last half-dozen games.
Prediction: The Road team in this Southeast Division rivalry has compiled an impressive 22-6-2 ATS in the last 30 meetings while Washington has posted an equally impressive 8-3 ATS mark over its last 11 games in South Florida.
I like the Wizards to cash in against the NBA Betting Odds as a 12-point road dog simply because they can score the ball (97.9 ppg) nearly as well as Miami (100.4 ppg) despite allowing 10 points per game more than Miami defensively.
I also like the Over with Washington playing Over the set O/U Total in four straight games and Miami playing Over the Total in two of its last three games overall.
NBA Picks: Washington Wizards +12 Points/Over 198 Total Points
New Orleans at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
NBA Odds
Oklahoma City Thunder -3.5
Over/Under 199.5
Analysis: The Hornets are coming off a dismal 109-95 home loss to the red-hot Spurs on Sunday were they failed to cash in against the NBA Odds as a 1-point home favorite to fall to an abysmal 1-6-1 ATS over its L/8 games and 1-3 SU over the last four.
The Thunder are coming off a disappointing 99-98 road loss to the undermanned Houston Rockets on Sunday where they failed to cash in against the NBA Odds as a 2.5-point favorite. Oklahoma City has lost two of its last three games overall while going an identical 1-2 ATS during the span.
Prediction: Oklahoma City has won two straight over the Hornets, but that was last season and now both teams look a lot different than they did a year ago.
Nevertheless, I am going to back the Oklahoma City Thunder to narrowly cash in against the NBA Odds as Kevin Durant bounces back from his poor game against Houston to have a big night against the Hornets.
I also love the way point guard Russell Westbrook has been playing this season and believe he will be more than up to the challenge of matching up against Chris Paul. I also think the Under is close to a lock selection tonight with both teams likely playing in the 90s and New Orleans playing Under the O/U Total in each of their last four road games.
NBA Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder -3.5 Points/Under 199.5 Total Points
Red-Hot ATS Teams Last Five Games
Utah Jazz 5-0 ATS
Chicago Bulls 5-0 ATS
Dallas 4-1 ATS
Philadelphia 4-1 ATS
New Jersey 4-1 ATS
Indiana 4-1 ATS
New York 4-1 ATS
