Big East Tournament Futures Odds

Cincinnati +2500

The seventh-seeded Bearcats look like a prime college basketball betting candidate to get upset and knocked out by Villanova in their second round pairing on Wednesday.

Connecticut +2000

After almost assuredly beating DePaul in the first round today, the Huskies will then face a Georgetown ballclub they beat 78-70 on Feb. 16, followed by a date against top-seeded Pittsburgh if they happen to win that contest. Maybe it’s me, but that’s one upset too many for UConn to pull off.

Georgetown +1200

The Hoyas will have to get past UConn in the second round and that’s not a given by any means college basketball betting enthusiasts. If Georgetown does make it to Thursday’s quarterfinal round, they won’t beat Pittsburgh, a team they lost to 72-57 on Jan. 12.

Notre Dame +200

The Fighting Irish will likely face Villanova or Cincinnati, before beating either team like they did in the regular season, to move on to a possible semifinal date against Louisville, which they’ll also win to make the finals.

I like the Pittsburgh Panthers (+200) and Syracuse Orange (+300) to meet in a Friday semifinal showdown that the Panthers win with their more experienced players to reach the conference finals.

St John’s +650

The Red Storm will look to get some revenge for their college basketball betting backers by beating Seton Hall and they should be able to accomplish that feat despite losing to the Pirates 84-70 on March 3. If the surprising Red Storm do somehow manage to get past Seton Hall, I think their tourney run will come to an end against Syracuse on Thursday in a quarterfinal matchup.

Villanova +3000

The Wildcats are absolutely reeling college basketball betting buffs, having lost four straight games coming into the tourney. However, I like the Wildcats to win their opener against South Florida tonight before going on to narrowly squeak past Cincinnati in the second round and then falling to Notre Dame in the semis.

West Virginia +1200

West Virginia wins its second round opener, before falling to Louisville in the quarterfinals on Thursday!
