And why not as Richmond is a formidable challenge to Temple’s 20-game home court win streak, having won eight straight road games, and four straight games overall. Chris Mooney’s squad would love nothing more than to crush the Owls in front of their home crowd while gaining on conference leader Xavier who sits ½ game up on both teams.

Both squads are evenly matched, boasting an impressive resume and a legitimate shot of making it to the NCAA Tournament come Selection Sunday.

Senior forward Justin Harper, the current A-10 Player of the Week, leads Richmond and ranks fourth in the conference in scoring with an 18.0 average. Harper averaged 21.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in two wins last week. He is aided by fellow upperclassman, guard Kevin Anderson, the 2010 A-10 Player of the Year. Anderson is one of the top playmakers in the league and ranks eighth in scoring (15.8 ppg.).

The Spiders have been on a tear knocking down opponents one by one including a 64-52 romp over the Billikens on Saturday as the online sportsbook betting favorite. Harper put up the most points for the Spiders with 22, shooting an amazing 77 percent from the floor, while Anderson contributed four big dishes.

But St. Louis is no Temple, and Owls have been rolling, winning six straight games, including a 75-63 win at Dayton last weekend. Even without the services of Lavoy Allen, the team’s leading rebounder, the Owls grabbed their share of boards, spreading spread the ball around while staying out of foul trouble. The result was a more balanced scoring attack and a decisive victory that moved Temple up one spot to No. 23 in latest AP Poll.

Junior guard Ramone Moore leads the Owls in scoring (15.0 ppg.) while ranking second in assists (77). Junior forward Scootie Randall, the hottest player in the league (18. ppg. over the last seven games), also averages double figures (11.6 ppg.), while Juan Fernandezand Michael Eric round out a strong starting five.

Finally, these two teams are very familiar with each other with the Owls winning the last meeting, 56-52, to capture the 2010 A-10 Championship.

Temple is 7-4 ATS at home while Richmond is 8-5 ATS on the road.

The City of Brotherly Love hasn’t been kind to the Spiders, so be sure to place your online sportsbook betting wager on the Owls to eke this one out at home.
