Bet on NFL Wildcard Games – Green Bay at Philadelphia
January 9, 2011
Fans who like explosive offenses and offensive stars will flock in large numbers in the final bet on NFL wildcard games matchup of the weekend between Green Bay and Philadelphia.
The Eagles’ hype cooled off a bit by the end of the year while Green Bay started coming on as a dark horse NFC favorite, but the Eagles are ready to regroup and have designs on starting the playoffs the way they played over much of the season.
Michael Vick will be back and Aaron Rodgers will be ready to try and match him pass-for-pass in what could be the most explosive bet on NFL wildcard games matchup of the weekend.
Who will move on to the next round with a big win in The City of Brotherly Love on Sunday?
Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles
4:30 pm ET
Pro Football Betting Line: Philadelphia favored at -3.
The Eagles will send Michael Vick onto the field as perhaps the most feared offensive player in the league other than Tom Brady in New England.
Vick rose to become the likely MVP runner-up or perhaps the winner after a brilliant season and he gives the bet on NFL wildcard games favorite Eagles a great chance to score another playoff win over the Packers in his up-and-down career.

Desean Jackson is the perfect sidekick for Vick since both of them have blazing speed and are among the fastest in the game, but the Packers have a great secondary.
Charles Woodson is more of a physical corner with great ball skills and his speed has waned a little bit as expected over the years but he should be very effective either covering, jamming
Jackson and Jeremy Maclin at the line, or especially coming off the edge to blitz Vick and keep him inside the tackle box as much as possible.
The Packers, the bet on NFL wildcard games underdog, have issues on defense with injuries, however.
Defensive end Cullen Jenkins is a key part of their schemes and a playmaker, and he is questionable for this weekend while Atari Bigby and Frank Zombo will also likely be out.
Philadelphia is 7-1 in its last 8 SU against the Packers at home while the Packer is 1-7 in its last 8 SU against the Eagles on the road.
This one will come down to a big play made by Vick to scramble out of trouble against an ailing defense that will be the difference in an extremely close game.
Bet on NFL wildcard games pick: Philadelphia (-3).
