Bet on NBA – Miami, Over in New Orleans/Utah and Over in Bulls/Suns Best Bets

November 25, 2010

I’ve hit on my last two single NBA betting wagers. On Monday, San Antonio covered the 3 ½ versus the Orlando Magic in a 106 to 97 victory.

Then on Tuesday the Bulls won ATS by a single point in a 91 to 98 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Now, it’s time to grab 3 games on the NBA Wednesday night card and bet a nice parlay!

Nov. 24th – NBA Games

Miami Heat +3 vs. Orlando Magic

Where: Amway Center, Orlando, Florida

When: 7:30 pm EST

Analysis: Yes, the Heat has looked ridiculously bad in their last two games. But that’s the point! Miami is much better than what they showed in a 95 to 97 loss as 5 ½ point favorites in the NBA sportsbook versus Memphis and a 77 to 93 loss (ouch!) as -9 point faves versus Indiana. Miami dominated Orlando 96 to 70 the last time these two teams met. Orlando will probably be without Vince Carter and, although it’s not being written about, the Magic hasn’t been stellar this season either. I just don’t see LeBron, D-Wade and Mr. Bosh allowing their squad to lose 3 games in a row. D-Wade scored only 3 points in the Indiana game.

He’s going to be fired up tonight. Expect LeBron to take charge, get his points, and involve both D-Wade and Bosh sometime in the middle of the second quarter. The Heat should prevail on Wednesday night straight up, not just ATS, but I’ll take the points.

Over 209 ½ Chicago Bulls vs. Phoenix Suns

Where: US Airways Center, Phoenix, Arizona

When: 9:00 pm EST

Analysis: The Bulls had a nice lead in the 4th quarter in their game versus the Lakers on Tuesday night but then L.A. went on a 17 to 2 run to destroy Chicago’s chances at the upset. No worries. Phoenix played a marvelous game behind Steve Nash two nights ago in a 123 to 116 victory, but Nash is still not 100%. The Bulls actually might have the edge in the point guard department with Derrick Rose at 100% and averaging 25.6 points and 8 assists per game. Chicago’s inside game is much better than the Suns’ right now. The Bulls should be in position to win this game straight up on Nov. 24th, but I’ll bet on over the 209 ½ NBA odds total. The last time these two teams met this past March, Phoenix won 111 to 105 and neither team has changed all that much.

Over 191 ½ New Orleans vs. Utah

Where: EnergySolutions Arena, Salt Lake City, Utah

When: 9:00 pm EST

Analysis: 191 ½ points equates to 95.75 points from each team. The Hornets average 97.3 points per contest. Utah averages around 100 per contest. More importantly, Utah gives up over 98 points per game. I just like the point guard matchup in this one. I truly believe that both Deron Williams and Chris Paul, who came out of the same draft class, will push their teams up and down the court. Why? Because the over is 5 and 1 in the Hornets last 6 games versus a team with a winning % above .600 and the over is 9-2-1 in the Jazz’s last 12 games versus a team with a winning % above .600. Both Williams and Paul have the players around them to play any style and winning teams play an up and down game. The two best point guards in the league will make it a fun game on Wednesday night.

Let’s make some basketball betting profits on Wednesday night!
