Key Head-to-Head Betting Trends

• Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

• Cardinals are 4-1-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Cincinnati.

• Road team is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings.

Analysis: Louisville has alternated SU wins and losses over its last five games but managed to squeak past Syracuse 73-69 on Saturday to cash in against the bet on college basketball spread as a 2-point home favorite to move to 3-2 ATS over its last five games.

Cincinnati has lost three of its last four games, including a heartbreaking 59-57 loser at home against St. John’s on Saturday where they failed to cover the spread as a ‘bet on college basketball’ 5-point home favorite to fall to a bankroll-busting 0-4 ATS over its last four games.

Prediction: A hopping 88 percent of BetOnline gamblers that like to bet on college basketball like the Louisville Cardinals in tonight’s contest – and while I’m a bit surprised that figure is so high, I do believe it’s the right call … not because I have an overabundance of faith in the Cardinals, but mostly because Cincinnati has been playing so inconsistently lately.

Louisville has been rock-solid in tight ballgames this season, going 5-3 in games that have been decided by five points or less or in overtime this season.

The Cardinals are the better shooting team (46.5 percent to 42.9 percent) and slightly better defensive team as they limit their opponents to just 40.3 percent shooting while Cincy allows its opponents to shoot 41.0 percent from the field.

Louisville will also be looking to avenge its 69-66 loss to Cincinnati postseason loss that came at Madison Square Garden on March 10 as a 6-point ‘home’ favorite.

Cincinnati has been on the proverbial bubble in each of the last two season – before falling completely apart when it mattered most – and expect them to do the same again this season starting tonight!

Not only has Louisville gone 4-1-1 ATS in their L/6 road games against Cincinnati, but the Road team in this longtime rivalry has gone 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings, If you like to bet on college basketball, then back the Louisville Cardinals to cash in against the spread in this Big East battle!

NCAAB Pick: Louisville Cardinals +2 Points
