All of a sudden, it looks like college hoops betting fans might have to deal with South Florida for a bit longer than expected. The Bulls shocked the world at MSG yesterday by capping a 16 point comeback against the Villanova Wildcats to move on to the second stage of the Big East Tournament. Now, USF runs up against a team that it has successfully covered eight straight times, including earlier this season when it only lost by eight as 13 point pups at UC. Don’t be shocked if, at bare minimum, Head Coach Stan Heath and company pull this off again.

There is just so much more on the line right now for the Golden Eagles than there is for the Mountaineers. Sure, WVU plays fantastic defense, but we are still in a position where Casey Mitchell is probably coming off of the bench because he is in the doghouse of Head Coach Bob Huggins. The Eagles just aren’t so sure yet that they are dancing either, and though they might be even with a loss, a win here really removes all doubt whatsoever. Don’t be shocked if Marquette finds a way to pull off this upset, as it has covered three straight meetings both SU and ATS in college hoops betting in this series.

If you like defense, the Big Sky finale is the game for you. There aren’t many teams that do it better than these two, and college hoops betting fans are sure to be in for a treat.
