NCAA Basketball Odds
Auburn Tigers (+24.5) -110
Kentucky Wildcats (-24.5) -110
Over/Under 137
You have to go back a decade to find the last time the Tigers won a game in this series, and though there has only been one game in this stretch that has been decided by more than 20 points, the college basketball odds are definitely stacked against the visitors in this one.
Rupp Arena has been a little house of horrors of late for the visitors, as four straight foes have come here and lost by at least 25 points, and we aren’t so sure that Auburn is all that much better than any of the teams that came to town during that stretch. Kentucky also has to absolutely be irate about that loss to the Georgia Bulldogs over the weekend.
Auburn looked like it might have turned a corner when it beat the Florida State Seminoles at home back on January 3rd, but it followed it up with a less than inspiring 62-55 defeat at home to the LSU Tigers; that doesn’t set up well for this visit to Lexington. It won’t go well, as the Cats are going to scratch the guests to beat the college basketball odds on Tuesday.
SLAM THE WILDCATS!
Wisconsin Badgers @ Michigan State Spartans
Game Date/Time: Tuesday, January 11th, 7:00 ET
Game Location: Jack Breslin Events Center, East Lansing, MI
TV/Radio Broadcast: ESPN, ESPN3.com, Sirius
NCAA Basketball Odds
Wisconsin Badgers (+4) -110
Michigan State Spartans (-4) -110
Over/Under 122
If you like defense, this is the game for you. The Badgers are holding foes to just 55.2 points per game this year, and they are hoping that they can take advantage of a Michigan State team that is off to an awful start in conference play off of that loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions over the weekend in Happy Valley.
The Badgers do have one signature road win this year, knocking off the Marquette Golden Eagles, but that wasn’t the same type of trip this one will be. Yes, this is a great team that plays fundamental basketball, but it just didn’t pan out right in a 69-61 loss to the Illinois Fighting Illini a week and a half ago.
The Spartans badly need a "get better game," and considering the fact that the home team is 10-2 against the college basketball odds the L/12 in this series and Sparty’s 16-6 ATS the L/22 times it played off a SU loss, look for them to do just that.
