The Tigers are brilliant when the ball is on the ground, they can run for a ton of yards and they keep opponents from running on them. Their defense ranks 12th nationally against run by allowing 92.8 yards a game. Offensively, the Tigers are averaging 269 yards a game on the ground for an eighth overall ranking.

NCAAF Betting Tips – The Tigers are 2-8 ATS in their past 10 road games.

Dual-threat quarterback Cameron Newton gets the job done on the ground and through the air. He leads the Tigers with 928 passing yards, 474 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.

Running backs Onterio McCalebb (336) and Michael Dyer (334) have combined for 670 rushing yards and have a couple of touchdowns each.

As good as the running game is, their passing game lacks on both sides of the ball. They rank 72nd nationally in passing yards and 89th against the pass.

NCAAF Betting Tips – The Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record.

The Kentucky Wildcats have a first year coach in Joker Phillips. Philips has the team believing they are capable of doing good things. They won their first three games covering three pointspreads but now have dropped two straight in the SEC. The losses came to Florida at the Swamp and to the Mississippi in Mississippi.

Running back, Derrick Locke leads the team with 543 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Although against the Tigers he could have a bad day but quarterback Mike Hartline could be in for a great performance.

Hartline has been solid this season. Hartline is completing 63.7% of his passes for 1222 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions.

NCAAF Betting Tips – Over is 7-1 in the Wildcats last 8 October games as a home underdog.

Defensively, the Wildcats are giving up 166.2 rushing yards a game and that total will go much higher this Saturday.

This game will be a high-scoring affair. The Tigers will run all over the Wildcats and the Wildcats will throw a lot against the Tigers.

Something to consider is that the Tigers scored 52 in their first and fifth game but the middle three wins came by an average of 4.6 points. That stat has mean leaning towards Joker Phillips Kentucky Wildcats plus the points.

NCAAF Betting Pick: Kentucky Wildcats +6½
