(25) Georgetown at Cincinnati – Can the Hoyas Figure it out?
January 28, 2009
The Georgetown Hoyas (12-6 SU, 6-7-1 ATS) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (13-7 SU, 6-8 ATS) will both be gunning for a victory on Wednesday when they meet at Fifth Third Arena.
Seton Hall upset Georgetown 65-60 as an 8-point underdog in the BetOnline Sportsbook on Sunday while the combined score fell Under the posted O/U total of 145 points.
Jeremy Hazell scored a game-high 23 points for Seton Hall and Robert Mitchell added 20 points in the win.
Cincinnati held St. John’s to just 21 points in the second half of Thursday’s 71-60 victory, to cover the spread for NCAA college basketball sports betting backers as slight 1-point underdogs while the 131 points went as a PUSH against the posted total of 131.
Deonta Vaughn led the Bearcats with 23 points while Rashad Bishop added 15 in the win.

Analysis: While the Georgetown Hoyas have burned me at least three times this season – and I’m quite pissed about it – I’m going to come back with the Hoyas to win this contest and cover the spread for my beloved hoops betting fanatics. Besides, it’s better to be pissed off than pissed on anyway, right?
NCAAB Free Picks: Hoyas -5½ Points/Under 137 Total Points
